In line with the most recent Government guidance, Wellington Apartments remains open however, from Thursday 5th November 2020 will only be able to accept bookings from essential workers and other permitted travellers such as those who must travel for work purposes. Overnight stays for the purpose of personal or leisure related travel cannot be accepted. To check eligibility of travel please click here. Authorisation for travel will be requested on check in.

The safety and wellbeing of our guests and teams has always been incredibly important to us and everyone in our apartments should rightly expect a safe, clean and protected environment. The coronavirus crisis has brought this into sharp focus. Our promise seeks to give you extra peace of mind so you can book and stay with confidence.

WA has established procedures to ensure the regular deep cleaning of all its apartments. Each one will undergo a deep clean prior to reopening and further specific measures to protect against Covid-19 will be carried out. Once opened, our enhanced cleaning standards will continue to be overseen and regularly reviewed.

Additional antibacterial disinfectant products are being supplied across our properties and will be regularly used throughout the day to ensure surfaces are clean to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Every element of the guest experience has been considered and reviewed to ensure that our guests can feel at ease when they stay with us. Consider purchasing travel insurance, which may provide coverage for illness due to COVID-19 should you be diagnosed and prevented from travel at the time of your departure. It may not provide coverage for travel bans, shelter in place orders, or fear of travel. Be sure to carefully read the policy coverage for details

Cleaning practices

Checking-in and social distancing

The expansive reception area allows for ample social distancing and hand sanitiser are available in public areas.

Hygiene and anti-bacterial sanitising spray

More frequent cleaning of high-touch areas, such as lift controls, door handles and handrails with Diversey-approved disinfectants to the European standard of EN14476, effective against COVID-19. In the bedroom, we’re paying special attention to cleaning any buttons, TV remotes, door handles and desks.

Housekeeping

We’re able to ensure our housekeeping team maintains the highest standards in cleanliness and hygiene training. We’re are also carrying out additional checks on rooms.

Bed linen

Laundering all our linen at over 60 degrees, with disinfectant detergent so you can enjoy a safe and great night’s sleep. We’ve also removed all extra pillows.

Protective equipment for our teams

To protect our team members, we’ve provided them with PPE equipment including gloves, aprons and hand sanitiser. Whilst there is no government guidance on the need to wear face masks in a hotel setting, all our teams have been provided with face masks, empowering them with the choice if they wish to wear them.

Coronavirus guarantee advance purchase - book with confidence

We recognise that we are all living in uncertain times. Whilst no one knows when the Coronavirus Pandemic will be over, we are sure that everyone needs something to look forward to. We have developed the Coronavirus bookings policy to provide you with reassurance over booking your apartment stay.

The Guarantee is available free of charge and applies to all new bookings for 2020 and 2021 and you are covered in the event of:

a) The hotel you have booked is closed due to the Coronavirus outbreak

b) UK Government restrictions on travel due to the Coronavirus outbreak affecting the area of the apartments, or your home location

c) We guarantee at any point within the ‘Guarantee Change Window’ (between 28 days and 3 days prior to that of arrival), you can:

• Transfer your break to a new date in 2020 or 2021, free of charge at an equivalent rate

• If you do not know your new dates, we will apply your original booking payment against a future break, again free of charge

Best available rate bookings

If you have a regular booking you are covered in the event of the below if government restrictions are introduced within the three-day cancelation period;

a) The hotel you have booked is closed due to the Coronavirus outbreak

b) UK Government restrictions on travel due to the Coronavirus outbreak affecting the area of the apartments, or your home location

c) We guarantee you can:

• Transfer your break to a new date in 2020 or 2021, free of charge at an equivalent rate

• If you do not know your new dates, we will apply your original booking payment against a future break, again free of charge
